Mauritian Minister James Burty David is dead. The news was confirmed about one hour ago. Late Minister James Burty David died of a heart failure at Dr Jeetoo Hospital.
Around 18:00 today James Burty David was taken to the hospital after suffering from severe chest pain and lost consciousness. He died at the hospital. Our sincere condolences to the minister’s family and friends. James Burty David was the Mauritian Minister of Local Governance and Outer Islands.
his news is a surprise but most precisely a shock for almost all Mauritian today. James Burty David was not sick and even attended some ceremonies today. No one could have think about this tragedy for the Mauritian politics. James Burty David was 58 year old. The Labour Party lost one of its most prominent members today.
