Mauritius Independence Day celebrationsMauritius will be celebrating its 42nd Independence Day on March 12th 2010.  So let Quatre-Bornes.com team wish every one of Mauritius a Happy Independence Day 2010. Hope this year bring this country a Hope, Prosperity and good Independence with liberty and freedom and Security in whole to this country.  We being part of Mauritius wish to have all the things we do go right ways, but not right things at wrong timings.

So what are you plans for tomorrow folks! Well we all know its a public holiday, are you going to be visiting the national parade. We’ve noticed past days there have been lovely rehearsals going on at Race Course of Mauritius. Well the parade is so lovely to look at and its getting all the attention by afternoons.

This year being a special year for Labor Party, coz  after this Indepdendence Day, we hope to hear something concrete related to elections right. So hopefully we will be hearing some great speeches from the political front of the country. There is quite a lot to think over just on this very special day. Independence Day has been a real mark for the country, there would be always many unsolved questions which arise in young hearts these days.

Well we might not know, some might think this Independence got us what?
Some might even think whats that Independence in this country? – We aren’t safe and we dont feel secure so what independence?
Some Techy guys think, Well this country is full formed by MONOPOLY of business segments (Take it as a example Mauritius Telecom - ORANGE  who is pathatically bad as a service provider) what is it we are getting forward or atleast toward?

Well all the questions and many hundreds arise, some come out to the light, some might get dissolved and some will be crushed and some will be biased and some will become POLITICALLY Correct… You know what we mean, anyways what ever happens it happens. Lets atleast wish for ourselves that we have Independence and celebrate this 42nd Independence Day.

Photography in MauritiusPhotography is a hobby that just about anyone can take up regardless of age. Practically everyone owns a camera these days, and its easy to download them into your personal computer. It wasn’t like that last decade, we need to spends hundreds and hundreds of bucks to see the results  (Film Rolls, Camera, Developing and Printing). Considering that there are different kinds of cameras available in the market, this is a hobby that is accessible to anyone who is interested. Getting started is not difficult. Probably the only really tough part is to decide what kind of photography you would like to focus on – while some people enjoy landscape photography, some specialize in portraits and some love children, nature and wildlife photography.

Photography is one of the famous and expensive hobbies existing for decades. Photography in Mauritius is getting popular these days. We do have some pals who do professional photography around the world and do research on photography, so as usual with the help of them we taught we would provide you some photography tips and sessions so that we all could learn something meaningful and learn something better.

Photography is very popular not only because it is easy to get started in, but also there is a ton of creativity available to express yourself. Much more complicated than the point and click cameras most people use, professional photography has an extensive amount of options that shape your pictures. We recommend you read a little about photography and then if still interested buy a beginners camera and a beginners book to start experimenting. Once you have a camera there are hundreds of tips and tricks available and also we would let you have in the lessons periodically in quatre-bornes.com articles to help you on your way.

There are terrific introductory articles for learning about nature, photography, fine art photography, wedding photography, landscape photography…etc. But photography is just not only about click click and click it makes a photography. First before you start something know yourself first and start from there, coz what you see is not what you get in the picture.

All depends upon how, where and what you are trying to frame makes quite a difference in the photography. In our team we did capture some of the beautiful moments which are breath taking, we are not just talking about the moments. We take pictures of everything possible movable, still, garbage cans, cigarette buds everything, end of the day every picture would talk thousands of words coz thats the thing it would say.

It was very much a tiresome evening at IGCIC in PHOENIX next to JUMBO. It was a event which went live on MBC. So did you had a chance to have a glimpse of it. If not we would surely say you’ve missed some of the talent hunt programs.  They were quite some talented guys on the stage performing right from very Indian classical, fusion, fashion show, folks and even modern.

The cultural show went on around 2+hours! damn 2+hours, you must be thinking was it such a big program, well to your surprise there was a PROTOCOL which we can’t help hearing all the bla bla’s and bla bla bla’s. Noticed couple of them went of sleeping. Hopefully it wasn’t meant for those who really dont like hearing speeches anyway.  So what was it all about you might be thinking, well it was for on the occassion of UGADI -  I suppose you must be knowing this.
