Arjuna, to whom Krishna is speaking, accepts Krishna's words as true, adding that the greatest spiritual authorities of that time also confirm that Krishna is God.
Traditions that follow in the line of these authorities have carried Krishna's teachings down to the present day.

Culture | Narasimha Jayanthi Pooja Celebrations in Mauritius
Today Narasimha Jayanthi has been very well celebrated at Mauritius ISKCON temples. The ISKCON temple celebrates this festival so grand and more than 300 people visited the Hare Krishna Centre. The prayers started in the evening followed by lectures by Guru, kirthans, Dramas and Bhajans inside the temple.
The Bhajans ended around 9.30 P.M followed by maha prasadam.
We will also update the pictures taken on this special occassion of Narasimha Jayanthi and ISKCON temple in Mauritius.
In a previous avatar, (Varaha), Vishnu killed the rakshasa Hiranyaksha. Hiranyaksha's brother Hiranyakashipu, greatly angered by this, starts to abhor Lord Vishnu and His followers. Further, he decides to put an end to Vishnu by gaining magical powers by performing a penance for Brahma. Brahma, pleased with his tough penance, appears before him and agrees to grant a boon. Hiranyakashipu asks for a tricky boon from Brahma: that he would not die on earth or in space, nor in fire or water, neither during the day nor at night, neither inside a building nor outside, not by the hand of a human, god, animal, nor by any animate or inanimate being. This virtually no-death boon to Hiranyakashipu makes him arrogant enough to conquer the entire world, not caring that it means severe trouble and torture for common people, munis and followers of Vishnu.

ISKCON's Mission
Srila Prabhupada gave a clear mission statement for ISKCON which is outlined in the following seven points.
The picture was taken in Mauritius ISKCON Vedic Farm with a telephone camera, but the quality of the image came perfect.
The Seven Purposes of ISKCON
1. To systematically propagate spiritual knowledge to society at large and to educate all people in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world.
2. To propagate a consciousness of Krishna (God), as it is revealed in the great scriptures of India, Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam.
3. To bring the members of the Society together with each other and nearer to Krishna, the prime entity, thus developing the idea within the members, and humanity at large, that each soul is part and parcel of the quality of Godhead (Krishna).
4. To teach and encourage the sankirtana movement, congregational chanting of the holy name of God, as revealed in the teachings of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

The Vedas tell us more. They say that this universe is one among countless others, each at least as big and complex as this one.

Gita | Hare Krishna - The real virsus of life
Bhakti is not the dogma or belief of a particular religion. Bhakti is more accurately defined using the Sanskrit word dharma.
Dharma means the inseparable quality that makes a thing what it is. A stone?s dharma is to be hard, water?s is to be wet, fire's to be hot, sugar?s to be sweet.
The living being?s dharma is Bhakti. We exist to exchange in reciprocal love with God and to serve Him with devotion. Any scripture of any religion that teaches that principle is promoting Bhakti.
