Mauritius elections – elections in Mauritius has been the most craziest topic these days running around in the country. Its just not that, recently its has been the biggest search terms in biggest search engines like google, yahoo, bing and others. We quatre-bornes.com get around 8k hits per day due to the fact, its the most promising portal not only in mauritius, but also been awarded the 2nd best portal in the world.  We get mails from different parts of the world asking us to give a synopsis of Mauritius election results and how it might turn out.To our understanding the fierce battle of winning seats are between 2 main parties Alliance du Coeur and Alliance  and Alliance de l’Avenir. Surely we would talk about another hype party Party Malin later on (Or you can read the related articles in here). But internally there is a fierce battle with these 2 parties who are trying to catch up so much to prove who comes first and who will occupy the parliament and who would be the opponent.

According to the scenarios we are seeing around the country there has been a up and downs of both the leading parties.  Most of the people in the country would still prefer the labour party and its the highest choice. They are going strong strong and strong. Being the party which has 13 female politicians for the first ever time in Mauritius and also the first ever chinese women in politics.

MMM being very popular in middle rift of the country including (Port Louis, Beau Bassin, Rosehill and parts of Curepipe) and the external outskirts of the country has been dominated by the labour party of mauritius. According to this scenario the seats are going to be splitting by by 40 – 20 ratio

That is 40 is for alliance sociale (Labour Party, PMSD and MMM )

20 seats for (MMM and the alliance)
