Mauritius Elections is the major subject these days in Mauritius – People are well concentrated about the elections, rather than the World Cup Football lately. Due to the fact that Mauritius is going to have a new govt soon and the elections are all set for next month May5th. So whats happening around in politics you might think of? All we would want to say is nothing great around the door step. Its only MMM party has finalised and being the most Organised Party – but not the ruling party. We also came to know that MMM has their meet at Municipality of Quatre-Bornes and the speech of Mr.Paul Berenger was outstanding. We are waiting for the sources to comment related to that, but we will surely wait and watch, as a far as MMM party they already let their 60 cats outta their bag.
Now we talk about the current ruling party Alliance Sociale with the new tie-up with MSM party lead by Mr.Juganath and other associates. No one in the country could exactly tell you who is the candidate nominated or going to contest for that particular region. Labour party has let some of the cats “Political Leaders of Labour party” out of the bag quite a while ago, but not the full list. So today being the final day we must get the entire list of all the candidates from all the regions. So everyone in Mauritius are eagerly waiting who is going where.
The biggest part of the scenario is still Mr.Rama Sithanen “The man who is the heart of this elections atleast” sounds to be the biggest kept secret till now. So many say he’s in and so many say he’s not going to be in, some say Mr.Kadress Pillay is in for NO18 we surely don’t have any idea related to that.
Hopefully atleast for quatre-bornes the suspense will be out today and hope the electoral campaign will start for new political alliance (Labour, PMSD and MSM) from this weekend. There is also a confirmed news from the sources of face book that there will be a meeting of all the agents of Alliance Sociale at Quatre-Bornes Municipality by 5Pm April 15th 2010.
