Elections in mauritius OMG! we are happy, we are really happy, but surely not for the elections, atleast for the things that’s its going to change. We might be getting better roads in quatre-bornes town atleast. Normally this is the trend right. The last time we ever saw a full fledged good roads in quatre-bornes town was around 2005 around June / July. Then the prime Minister who acted very wise to put back the roads in proper condition hoping to win the elections, but we saw the fate.
We will surely see whats going to be in there in the elections in coming days. So If at all the elections are going to be around May, what are we seriously targeting around.
Are we not going to hit something big close to Football World cup. As a person Football I don’t seem to understand the game, but its not the the same case with rest of Mauritius and also its not like Brazil where by Football is a Religion. We do have some crazy crazy fans who follow English football and other premiere matches.
Whats making us think something is fishy in the election timings?
By May 2010 around football season we are having a big hype running in the country which would bring we suppose quality tourists from different parts of Mauritius, practically Mauritius sucks on tourists money. So why would we bother tourists for days or months with this election hype.
According to our Mr the Prime Minister speech – Its supposedly be after the elections of England. So we are more of British followers and french followers – wonder what are we finally – Some times we wonder this “ARE WE MARTIANS” – close to it ofcourse. Surely there must be some political understandings between countries which might lead to this decision, hopefully something positive we would hear about.
Whose sticking to whom now for Mauritius Elections 2010?
There is a buzz in the country that there would be some kind of tie-ups or mutual understandings or what so ever between Mr.Paul and Mr.Ramgoolam or the options can be Mr.Ramgoolam and Mr.Pravin, well if this is the case there would be some more issues cropping up for sure.
What would PMSD (Xavier-Luc Duval) group must be doing. I suppose they’ve been most loyal party for past 5 years without any major issues and Mr.Xavier going great guns inside building up the tourism industry everywhere and also his practical promotion season to the world is going to be from May.
Is it the sayings which goes like “all dogs eat in same plate – so as politicians”. Surely not trying to comment on something but the fact is everyone barks so big at parliament, when the ching ching of champaign glasses come god damn they act much better actors than “AMITABH BACHAN or evel AL PACINO”

The combination from quatre bornes for Alliance Sociale with PMSD ( Sitanen, Xavier and Nita) – this TRIO again, well heard so much of bla blas going on in between though. Lets gather some facts and figures to come up with some bright analysis later.
For now this would be it – So elections might be after MAY first week to be more concise, and according to the current pattern ALLIANCE SOCIALE with lead even this election as there is no other political party who can really be a strong opponent.
