Well the reason behind is as the domain itself says it shows almost all the adverts related to jobs in Mauritius, mainly in Mauritius we must say. Its a very good platform for Mauritians employers/employees so far. So we can easily say this site must be one of the most visited website by almost every working individual whoze literally working in Private sector in Mauritius. No no no we aren’t talking about the public sectors in Mauritius, coz surely that’s one lucky job any one can get in Mauritius.
So coming to the point of website, we have to say that we have received quite some mails stating to mention that this website is currently down, so that people can view some of the job postings which we do as well. We are hoping that myjob.mu will be up and running soon.
We really don’t have any knowledge related to the website and the condition, their might be so many possible reasons when the website can go down down down down as we say. Find below the reasons which we think could be possible
1. Heavy load in the website [ might be the concurrent connections ]
2. Server Updates in php/apache / database or some mods in the website
3. Some Template which is not rendering well after someone updated the website, let it be even a user who updated a posting with wrong content “by using some wrong codes in side”
4. No maintenance done so far to the website…
5. Domain DNS shifting to wrong places – if that’s the case they need to do fast force refresh from server.
6. Alias not able to reach the named servers
