We as a paradise on earth nation, must keep in mind that the beauty of the country surely based on the greenery of the country. But in recent past years, what so ever grew in the country is out of question, but one thing which is growing faster than mushrooms are the concrete buildings everywhere. We are uprooting so many trees which saw the fierce cyclones, winds, heat and cold. If they could talk, that would be a shame.
At the risk of sounding like a heroine in a sappy war movie, “We are running out of water, air and land darling!” Yep, as dramatic as that sounds, it’s a real worry in the world now. We have used to up too much of the resources and now are facing dire consequences in near future a.k.a global warming, depleting energy sources, land and water resources, pollution in the air etc. Looking at how talks on environment have failed, it is high time to step up our own efforts at saving our home. And what better way to start then with making homes that are eco-friendly?
At what cost we are loosing all these green around the country and it makes me worries to see the buildings without the proper infrastructure – (Just talk about few, they are buildings commercial and residential don’t even allocate the proper parking slots, No Trees inside the compound, No proper natural lights inside the buildings – well yes they might look beautiful when they light up every damn bulb, so what about the eco-system). There must be a rule passed in the government that every house must have minimum a 3 trees (tap rooted and 2 fibre rooted) and every commercial building must have couple of them.
Damn world is going so greedy for the money -” MONEY IS THE WORLD DON’T YOU love the cash”. Wonder how long would you be back of money all the time. Do remember the times of Tsunami, its some trees which saved some of humans, not the big beautiful buildings which took human lives.
Where are we progressing in this eco-system or the govt-system, is the system is all that greedy to make that much money at the cost of eradicating their own civilization, wonder and wonder. Quatre-Bornes town being a residential town having the highest land value for residential purposes is growing so fast with these concrete mushrooms. We are surely not opposing anyone from developing, but do keep in mind the greenary and eco-system which will not only bring the beauty but also value saying that “We do care for the environment”
