l’express newspaper has been one of the favorite newspapers in the country so far. Well what comes in the news and goes out of the news is surely an other topic and we as a normal newspaper readers tend to understand the fact that all the news which comes in the news papers in Mauritius are all biased. Well it happens right after the elections, where by l’express was writing or pushing too much anti-current govt. I suppose they “I’express knew what they were doing” hopefully but never taught they would get these results end of the day. So l’express by pushing the undebatable Prime Minister for second time, you are expected to get doomed.
It goes like saying in asian countries ” Don’t you ever try to be too smart by putting the hand inside a Snakes Nest” Coz you would never get a caress from it, but a death bite. Voila thats the exact stuff happened to l’express – they are doomed. Now we don’t have an idea of whats going to happened except from the fact they will be filing a case against the govt – For what we don’t have any political insight on that but today there is going to be a some sort of bla bla bla in the country related to this topic.
In Mauritius the gossip plays the big factors in everything you do. If its the question of limelight or some kind of hidden agenda well, all the things are very much kept very secure and secret. So now on we would not be seeing any sort of adverts related to govt in l’express newspapers and group might be.
l’express newspaper by itself has been a paper openly supportive to the parties who are against the govt and in recent past days they openly mentioned in one of their own dailies ”If someone feels l’Express is biased and does not like it , he just has to stop buying it , like I have stopped listening to the MBC for years because I could not swallow its abject kow towing any more.” – So you must be thinking whats happening around ” we at quatre-bornes.com would say THIS IS MAURITIUS”. The so called newspaper itself say “if you don’t like it don’t buy it” so if the govt don’t believe in their newspaper why on earth they must place the ads on the papers which they will not buy – Thats the logic we think.
Now quatre-bornes.com readers don’t surprised that even l’express newspaper will publicly show the false figures that their sale has gone double too. Remember the scenarios which they published for election campaign as well stating the MMM party is leading and dominating the country with bla bla of percentage and finally very own supporters got carried away with the complete false information and today we all have the plain truth in front of our eyes. We are here to tell you what we think “AS IS” so we are never going to tell you buy or don’t buy any kind of news papers or anything. But the choice is always yours.
