Quatre Bornes – Town Portal

It was that drizzling evening at Quatre-Bornes where all the great fun happened at Municipality of Quatre-Bornes. Well it was 6 in the evening we started to feel the heat in the Municipality Hall. It was great to see all those with those manginificient traditional clothing. Right from new generation to the older generation. It was to our eyes so pleasing to see the people welcomed with such a hearty smile on their faces.  If we would put every thing in a short note, we call it the marvelous journey of youth and tradition in own bowl and we call it PICTURE PERFECT PERFORMANCE. This is what we wish to see when the fun is around, mixed with the tradion, Quatre-Bornes did attend one of the best places on Saturday 2010 March 13th.

It was great fun sitting around and walking about  the areas where it was all empty, but we could see the crowd coming up slowly but by the time it was 7 the hall was completely packed and no places for others. We heard those indian music  -”Telugu Music – Filmi we suppose” playing and it was really foot tapping numbers, but we were trying to hold our seats on for a while.  By dot 7, there was an announcement stating that the Cultural Show will be on in Few Minutes and everyone take off the seats.

Well we heard that, and we realised that we would be loosing our seats so we went rushing inside to get hold of our seats.  Now we must tell you that the hall was packed and the light music going backround and pretty women and handsome guys walking around with their ethenic wear, wow wonderful feeling. We also noticed all the participants were accomodated on the balcony, its quite obvious to us so that participants were given enough space to seat and accomodate.

The show went on well, though it was quite a boring hell for us to hear the speech, we normally dont like the eloborated speech, but its ok for us to listen once a while. Mayor of Quatre-Bornes was so happy we could feel and also his speech was rocking – which literally showed his appreciation. We do have some pictures here and there about the show, but you need to register to be viewing all of them, so what ya waiting for register so that you can view the pictures right.

This show had great numbers right from Kuchipudi – Which is traditional Music, Folk dances, Songs – surely not R&B but it was a great fusion of music by kids and elders of Quatre Bornes Temples  “Here they call it Mandirams” and last part of it followed by modern.   All that we liked with this culture show – Mainly the Telugu Cultural show is the civic sense and the modernisation of the show all together, It goes non-stop so we dont have to wait for accounted number of minutes to see the second performance.  Well it was fascinating, we got the permission to go back stage from one of the main executives out there.

Being Part of Quatre-Bornes.com is such a previlage for us to watch whats happening around and whats inside out, so this is all fun and fun we must be saying right. You would notice all the pictures were taken from dark light, so some of them might not be that clear, but we tried out best not to object those participants.
